I have started this blog plenty of times, there are plenty of incantations and first posts lurking around and about in cyberspace but today is different. Today this blog will be published.
Why the stop/start relationship with blogging? Well I thought I needed to have reached some peace with my reason to blog first, but now I think I can reach there through blogging. I want this to be a record of the journey and at the moment there is no destination in sight.
So who am I?
A mother, a wife, a maths teacher, a childbirth educator, a knitter, a friend and a full time pancreas to my beautiful 5 year old daughter. The other occupations I have spent years planning, preparing and doing but I am now 7 months into the pancreas job and with no prior training or warning I am very much learning on the job.
This blog is to document my learning, the highs (and the HIs) and the lows (and the LOs) of a life too sweet. I have gained so much support from other people working as professional pancreas' to their children and to themselves, that maybe now I have something to give back.
This blog is dedicated to my amazing daughter, who teaches me something about human spirit every day.
